How to be More Organised ?
So you have been looking around on this site or googled (extensively)
How to be more organised and how do you do this?
You know organising, is a rather big concept and it evokes a range of different emotions and images depending on who you talk to.
If you have had a quick look on this website it shows you my attempt to break this topic down through the use of answering organising and decluttering questions through many different angles. I try and use images, some step-by-step instructions and tips. However, at the core it is an approach that allows many methods to fit together and help you today.
Definition of being More organised:
One could be considered more organised, when you can find your belongings. When there is a system in the way you work in your house and your work spaces. A system, which supports you in daily living, as well as help you to achieve your larger overall goals in life.
Find homes for items
Meaning you have to find a place for everything you own (in organising speak we call it finding homes) for all the items you own. Once you have found a home or made one through using baskets, furniture etc. you can put your items away. That is it you are organised!
When organising:
-
It is easier to find items that are similar in a similar space.
-
Have key items ready to go when you need them. Next time you are looking for an item in the living room, kitchen or bathroom move your item to this new location.
-
Where possible have open and see through containers. You want to be able to find and use your items in seconds.
